Di, been out of town for a while (minus 2-week visits) but I can tell you that Son of Air\'s comment is a very valuable one. Most of these coaching centers teach you little but of you are looking for a morale booster, you will certainly get that. I do not believe they are expensive (may be less than a 1,000) but the question is what you will get out of them... very little I assume. I know that mental blocks play a role. Check with YMCA Sec\'bad. I believe they have almost for free classes for pub speaking. My tips - (1) Be confident - know that you are as good as others; I\'ve noticed that until they speak, they are critical of others. (2) Assume there is nobody in front of you - hard but try doing this; (3) Do not be scared of initial criticism you are bound to get - and you will; (4) Focus on you topic of speech - rather than the style in which you will speak; the more you know about your topic and the better prepared you are, the better will be your speaking engagement; and (5) lastly, do not worry about what others think. I remember days from my sixth class when I was randomly elected President of my class debating association. My friends used to tease me every week when I would open a topic for others to speak on. But the criticisms used to go down when THEY started speaking. I grew confident and have learned a lot ever since. Good luck.
