AVI Compressor?
Does anyone here know of a good software to compress AVI files. And please

Things are supposed to happen the way they happen. And the reason they happen the way the happen is because you try to make them happen in a certain way and may or may not be succesful.

Do u want to convert AVI files into MPG/DAt's or just want to compress

Can give you Sony Vegas Movie Studio (With serials). Never tried compressing AVI's though it does a decent job of rendering them into MPEG's or DAT's.
Somehow I don't think you can really compress AVI's to a large extent as the format itself is pure uncompressed video. It'll be like trying to compress a text file.
