Do you mean to say that you need an online source to back whatever I've written above to show the status of women in Indian history? That's common knowledge man. Unless you're saying that the facts reproduced above are "Modi"ised. Is whatever I wrote above not enough to give an indication of the status of women? I gave the topic a thought and realised that I was checking the internet for facts in vain. As for me starting this new thread, it happened because I had posted credible replies to DQ's queries in the original thread more than once and he was prolonging the discussion for no reason. Since that was rendering the thread redundant, I decided to take that segment of the discussion elsewhere. This way, DQ and I could thrash out the issue without disturbing the objective of the original thread. Ofcourse, others are welcome to contribute constructively too. Pray tell me, what wrong do you see in someone doing this?
